Microblading is done with a manual hand tool and blade, while Nano hair strokes are done with a digital pen and single needle. Microblading creates thin hairlike channels into the skin, and pigment is deposited into the resulting cut or "stroke".

Nano hair strokes create hairlike strokes via a digital pen and needle, by etching tiny dots of pigment into the skin. This method causes less trauma and lasts longer (especially on oily skin), when compared to traditional microblading. 

Each individual will have a different experience with the level of discomfort associated with the service. Some say it is relaxing and they only feel the pressure being applied. Others say it feels about as uncomfortable as tweezing.

Overall, Nano hair strokes cause less discomfort when compared to classic microblading. Our Master Artist Lily uses a topical numbing cream to make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire process.

Typically, Nano hair strokes last anywhere from 18-24 months, whereas Microblading lasts 10-18 months before requiring a touch up.
